Jay Lee is the COO of Landing International Development Ltd, and CEO of Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd, the developer, operator and manager of a US$2.6 billion Jeju Shinhwa World integrated resort project, comprising luxury hotels, casino, attractions, M.I.C.E. facilities, retail, F&B, and residential development.
Jay was appointed to head the Jeju project in 2014, after spending 10 years with Genting Singapore PLC during its successful bidding, development, opening and operations of Singapore’s first integrated casino resort, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). During his tenure at Genting Singapore PLC, Jay held various senior leadership roles, firstly as VP and Head of Finance of RWS, and subsequently as Senior VP of Casino Marketing at RWS. Prior to the Jeju appointment, Jay was the Senior VP of Corporate Development at Genting Singapore PLC.
Jay began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers UK in 1997 and later moved to PWC’s US transaction services team in Washington DC. In 2001, Jay moved to Hong Kong to set up Ernst & Young’s Hong Kong Transactions Advisory Services team, specializing in due diligences, valuations, and debt restructuring. In 2005, Jay joined the Corporate Affairs Department of Genting Berhad and was the pioneer member in Genting’s successful bidding of the Sentosa Integrated Resort project.
