Executive Roundtable: Content and Amenities for the Mass Market

The future of Macau is as much tied to non-gaming amenities as it is to the casinos that will drive their development. With a government directive to create more of these amenities, the question is what kinds of developments will drive more tourism, and therefore more revenues. At the same time, gaming remains integral to the Integrated Resort model. How are industry suppliers working with operators to drive the mass market, and what new games have proven most effective? During this dynamic session, leaders of the Asian gaming industry will discuss priorities for Macau and opportunities across the region.

Digging Deeper: Database Mining that Impacts Operations, Marketing and Customer Experience

Markets across the region have experienced a mix of both rapid growth and strong headwinds in the past few years. At a global level, an increasingly competitive environment demands solutions for larger market shares, broader scope of offerings, more revenue streams and larger client bases. Operators have realized the essential mandate to “dig deeper” into the client database in response to this intense competition; looking for marketing and operational strategies to leverage existing customer relationships, unlock invaluable business insights, and realize potential revenues and profits. Data science is a powerful tool that can provide actionable insights into bricks-and-mortar operations, digital marketing, and interactive gaming spaces. This panel of experts will discuss how data analytics can support a variety of functional areas individually, and explore how data science can serve as the common thread that links these functions in the future to provide a truly integrated experience for guests.

Revenue Management:Casino Yield Optimization

Given severe restrictions on the number of tables entering the market, "doing more with less" describes what brand new, multibillion dollar Cotai casinos have been forced to do with their existing gaming tables. This is by no means a problem exclusive to Macau.New jurisdictions, rising employee wages and equipment costs, nonsmoking regulations, as well as enhanced scrutiny by investors have put pressure on casinos everywhere to abandon old-school casino management theories and explore new ideas and technologies.
This session is divided into two parts: In the first half, Alidad Tash will focus on the latest trends in table games optimization, including seemingly counter-intuitive solutions. The second half will be in a panel format, focusing on technology and gaming machines, and featuring industry experts and manufacturers.
