Macau – May 23，2019 – The 13th edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, the leading Asian trade event and the largest regional sourcing platform for global gaming and entertainment products, concludes today at The Venetian Macao. G2E Asia 2019, its largest to date, gathered 13,500 trade visitors in the first two days of the event, surpassing last year’s same period number by 5 percent, wrapping up the event of its most successful year ever.
Throughout the course of its 12 years of operation, G2E Asia has worked closely with the Macao SAR authorities to ensure the integrity of the Show and that its exhibitors meet with all regulatory and legal requirements. In close coordination with the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), G2E Asia continued to restrict the promotion and marketing activities of illegal online gaming products and services. Every scheduled exhibitor at G2E Asia 2019 has committed to not display “any product or service that may be categorized as a consumer-facing product related to online or mobile gaming.” Working closely with local regulators to stamp out illegal gambling is a hallmark of gaming operators and suppliers in Macao. We remain committed to our strong partnership with the Macao SAR authorities, in particular DICJ. G2E Asia will continue to provide the best platform for entertainment and gaming industry leaders and peers in the Asia Pacific region.
