Macau – May 22,2019 – Today, the 13th edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, the leading Asian trade event and the largest regional sourcing platform for global gaming and entertainment products, enters its second day at The Venetian Macao.

l  The G2E Asia 2019 Conference Program commenced with a keynote address entitled, “China’s Greater Bay Area: Opportunities and Challenges for Macau and for our Key Industry,” by Ms. Daisy Ho, chairman and executive director of SJM Holdings Limited and chairman of the board of directors of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A.

 

l  Day one came to a close with the G2E Asia Awards Ceremony and Dinner at the Parisian Macao. The awards, which recognize excellence in both the gaming and non-gaming aspects of Asian entertainment, officially announced the winners of the 12 award categories:

Day two of the conference program is themed, “From Gaming to Beyond Gaming,” and will feature expert-led talks by esteemed guest speakers throughout the day, including Ms. Helena Fernandes, director of the Macao Government Tourism Office.

Tomorrow will also host two new forum launches: Esports Connect Asia Forum and the Financial Technology Asia Forum.

Esports Connect Asia Forum features a list of highly experienced speakers from the esports world and specialists that have worked closely with the integrated resorts industry. Esports Connect Asia is a unique opportunity to not only learn about esports, but more importantly, discover how esports can help increase a property’s performance in the years ahead.
