Continent’s Leading Gaming Tradeshow Marks Ninth Edition with Major Highlights

Macau—Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2015, organized by American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions, the premier gaming exhibition and conference event dedicated to the Asian gaming markets, kicks off today. Celebrating its ninth edition, G2E Asia 2015 will run through 21 May, at the Venetian Macao, in Macau S.A.R., People’s Republic of China.

G2E Asia continues to define itself as the leading event for Asian gaming. This year’s edition will feature a larger show floor and an increase in attendees. The show floor boasts 180 exhibitors in 8,500 square meters of exhibit space and attendance is projected at 9000.

G2E Asia 2015 Opening Ceremony

An annual highlight of the show, the G2E Asia 2015 Opening Ceremony will feature a gathering of dignitaries from local government and business organizations as well as the international gaming industry. The officiating guests include Mr. Chen Xiang, the director of Economic Affairs Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau SAR; Mr. Li Yang, the deputy director to General of Foreign Ministry of PRC in Macau; Mr. Leong Man Ion, Deputy Director, Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, Macau SAR; Ms Gloria Ung, Executive Director, Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute; Mr. Kou Hoi In, President of the Board Directors, The Macau Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Duan Hong Yi, the president of Macao Convention & Exhibition Association; Mr. Marcus Prater, President of Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers; Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association and Mr. Hu Wei, President, Reed Exhibitions China.

Conference Seminars

This year the conference will feature more high-level industry leaders and influencers than ever before. It will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, join important discussions and learn from top experts as they analyze the most important issues facing gaming today. William Scott, President of MGM Asia Pacific and Diaoyutai MGM will deliver a highly anticipated keynote on Wednesday, May 20.

The conference will also focus on gaming updates from existing and emerging markets across the region, including Macau, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam and Saipan. Industry leaders from all across the region will provide astute updates on a variety of compelling topics, including integrated resort models and their attraction to the mass market; Chinese consumer trends; regulatory challenges and more.

Networking Opportunities

The year, the show will provide the most cost effective networking platform with the Who’s Who of Asia’s gaming industry by featuring an unrivaled number and selection of onsite networking events and opportunities. In addition to the Welcome Reception, there will be a host of other targeted networking events to allow industry executives to connect and conduct business during the event. Harnessing the latest in today’s technology has allowed us to further enhance networking opportunities both locally and abroad. The online networking system “My G2E Asia” and mobile app started connecting exhibitors and their targeted buyers months in advance! First ever, G2E Asia launches an auto-matchmaking system. The system, designed to match visitors with exhibitors, has resulted in over a thousand of matches results.

Trade Show Floor Pavilions

With an even bigger show floor this year, there will be a wide-ranging showcase of specialized products and services in key sectors, including Food, Beverage & Hospitality, iGaming, IT and Business Solutions and Security and Surveillance. A hotly anticipated new addition to the G2E Asia show floor in 2015 is the pavilion for nightlife and entertainment, in partnership with the Macau International Clubbing Show (MICS).

This invitation-only program brings hundreds of carefully researched and recruited over 500 purchasing professionals and serious decision-makers from Asia's premier casinos, integrated resorts, hotel properties and cruises face-to-face with the vendors of their most sought-after products and solutions.
