Toru Mihara
is director of the center for amusement industries studies at Osaka University. He also serves as a guest professor at the graduate school of Tokyo University. Mihara has advised leading political parties, including both the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party of Japan, on gambling policy and supported political efforts to create casinos in Japan.
