Jorge Godinho



Jorge Godinho

is an associate law professor at the University of Macau, where he serves as coordinator of the master's degree and postgraduate programs in international business law. Prior to embarking on an academic career, he practiced law in Portugal and Macau, and worked for the Macau government in the legal affairs department. In 2000, he joined the University of Macau's law faculty as a full-time professor. His current academic interests include civil, commercial, criminal, gaming and international law. Godinho has published a number of books and academic publications in Portuguese, English and French and is a member of the board of editors of the Gaming Law Review. He holds a master's degree in law from the University of Macau, a doctorate from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, and is a graduate of the faculty of law from the University of Lisbon.
