John Catt
is principal of his recently established consultancy, Corporate Reputation Group International. Prior to this, he was vice president of public relations for Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJM) where he was responsible for the positioning of SJM’s joint ventures and new businesses. Before joining SJM, he served as executive director of communications with Venetian Macau Ltd. Catt also has held senior positions with companies such as Philips Electronics, General Electric USA and ICI. He has served as chairman of a number of global communications task groups monitoring issues and addressing them proactively through pan-industry communications programs. Catt has represented the industry at a number of world forums, including the Food and Agricultural Organization, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Environment Programme.
