Eric Greenberg

Eric Greenberg
is a managing director in the financing group at Goldman Sachs where he focuses on leveraged finance for the Asia Ex-Japan (AEJ) region and is responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing transactions. Greenberg joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as a vice president in the investment banking division in New York. He was named a managing director in 2008. Previously, he worked at Deutsche Bank from 2001 to 2005, where he also focused on leveraged finance, primarily executing LBO transactions. Prior to banking, he spent four years in the Philippines working for the domestic credit rating agency during the Asian Crisis from 1996 to 1998 and for Gielczyk & Associates, a trade and investment advisory firm, from 1998 to1999. He served as a trustee of the American Association of the Philippines from 1998 to 1999. Greenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and business management as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University.
