Donald Snyder
is dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Snyder is a veteran of the gaming industry, retiring as president of Boyd Gaming Corporating in 2005 after nearly a decade of leadership at the company. He also previously served as president and CEO of the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas and as the chairman and CEO of First Interstate Bank of Nevada. Snyder has been actively involved in numerous business, charitable and civic activities and has served on the boards of several gaming and non-gaming companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming as well as a graduate degree from Stanford University and was awarded an honorary doctorate of laws by UNLV in 2001.
