Catherine Burns
is the managing director and vice president, Asia Pacific at Bally Technologies, Inc. Burns joined Bally Technologies in 2006 to establish the company’s game and systems sales, service and operations presence in Asia Pacific. Since then, Burns has built a team to grow and support both the gaming and systems business in Macau, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos. Prior to joining Bally, Burns held leadership positions at Video Lottery Consultants, a global gaming technology company, as well as business development and account management positions with IBM Australia. During her tenure at IBM, she received the Asia Pacific Marketing Excellence award, the Asia Pacific Region Marketing award and was a member of IBM’s “100% Club.” Most recently, Burns received the “2008 Great Women of Gaming” Proven Leader award.
